PURPOSE:To make the assembly easier, and make it possible to install in a small space by a method wherein electromagnetic wave is cast on a third heat sensitive coloring layer by first light guides which are attached on both sides of a thermal head, and electromagnetic wave is cast on a second heat sensitive coloring layer by second light guides. CONSTITUTION:A recording head 10 consists of a couple of light guides 14, 15 which are fixed on a couple of radiating plates 12, 13 fixed on both sides of a thermal head 11. At the time of heat-recording of a yellow image, an ultraviolet ray lamp 21 is lit up, and generated near ultraviolet rays pass through the light guide 15 and are injected from the injection end 15a, and are cast on the part of a color heat sensitive recording material 16 on which the yellow image is heat-recorded. At the return process of the color heat sensitive recording material 16, the thermal head 11 heat-records a magenta image on a magenta heat sensitive coloring layer 57 by 1 line at a time. When the part on which this magenta-image is heat-recorded reaches the injection end 14a of the light guide 14, ultraviolet rays generated by an ultraviolet ray lamp 20 are cast, and optical fixing is performed. |
