发明名称 METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR LASER BEAM WELDING
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce thermal deformation of a workpiece by welding and to perform welding with high accuracy by providing a kaleidoscope on the tip of the welding equipment. CONSTITUTION:A fillet weld zone 5 is irradiated via the kaleidoscope 12 fitted to the small diameter tip with a necessary spot diameter of a laser beam 10 which passes the inside of a small diameter pipe 11 (waveguide) with auxiliary gas 20. Metal fine powder which is made to weld metal 4 is carried to the auxiliary gas 20 and heated by heat of the laser beam 10 through a nozzle 15 attached to the outside of the kaleidoscope 12 and made to the weld metal 4. In addition, cooling water is carried to a cooling pipe 21 to prevent overheating of the small diameter pipe 11 (waveguide) and the kaleidoscope 12. Further, the metal fine powder, etc., are prevented from scattering by a cover 16. In addition, in order to form the weld metal 4 uniformly on the fillet weld zone 5, the whole of the nozzle 15 including the kaleidoscope is oscillated to perform welding. Accordingly, a fillet welded joint is obtained by low heat input and shallow penetration and besides, because of the low heat input, deformation of a flange 2 can be suppressed low.
