The invention is constituted by a device for passive solar heating. It comprises a volume forming a thermal enclosure ABCDEFG which is open towards the bottom and is connected to at least one pipe (12) comprising a fan (8) and leading to a storage means (13). This thermal enclosure comprises essentially a glazed surface (1) as facade of the building and an intermediate surface constituted by a material which serves as a black body (2) when seen from the outside but is translucent when seen from the inside. The function of the enclosure, with a view to optimum recovery of surplus calories, is to maximise the calorific power of the air to be extracted from said enclosure and to pulse it towards the storage means, increasing by at least 10 DEG C the temperature of the air in the enclosure in relation to the temperature of the ambient air in the living rooms. <IMAGE>
