<p>PURPOSE:To enable execution of the subsequent work by an other cartridge conveying mechanism when one cartridge conveying mechanism becomes inoperable due to a fault or the like, by making it possible for the cartridge conveying mechanism in a first locker to convey a cartridge in a second locker, and vice versa. CONSTITUTION:It is made possible for a cartridge conveying mechanism 3 in a first locker 10 to convey cartridges 2 and 6 in and out of cartridge storage cells 1 and 5 of both the first locker 10 and a second locker 11, while it is made possible also for a cartridge conveying mechanism 7 in the second locker 11 to convey the cartridges 2 and 6 in and out of the first and second lockers 10 and 11. In the case when the cartridge conveying mechanism 7 in the second locker 11 becomes inoperable due to a fault or the like, for instance, accordingly, the cartridge conveying mechanism 3 in the first locker 10 can convey the cartridge 6 in and out of the second locker 11. Even when the cartridge conveying mechanism in one locker becomes inoperable, according to this constitution, a processing program and data in the locker can be employed.</p> |
