The invention relates to a method and a device pertaining to the piece-by-piece feeding-out of substantially equal- length parts piece by piece having mutually different cross-sectional measurements and having many times greater length measurements than cross-sectional measurements. Examples of such parts are cuttings for energy forest cultivation. At least close to the feed- out, the parts are transported in the transverse direction lying adjacent to one another in essentially a single layer. The perpendicular distance a between the centre of rotation 4' for an ejector 4c and the centre axis 6' for a part 6 which is next in line to be fed out is controlled. The control is effected in dependence upon the cross-sectional measurement of the part 6, so that at the moment of feed-out the said tip is located behind the centre axis 6' viewed in the direction of transport. <IMAGE> |
