<p>PURPOSE: To improve logic element storage density by providing connectors for connection to a logic element on the front face and rear face of a back plane card. CONSTITUTION: Concerning a back plane assembly 20, multiple layers are formed from a back plane card 22, stiffeners 33 and 34 fitted on both the side faces so that the back plane card 22 can be positioned at center, and electromagnetic consistency(EMC) shields 36 and 50. A double sided back plane has connectors 28 for conductively receiving the logical element on both side faces 24 and 26, and two logical cages are connected while sharing one back plane. Thus, the logical element can be connected onto both the sides and the storage density of logical elements can be improved.</p> |
