A process for the semi dry collection of pollutants contained in smoke, in particular sulphurous anhydride using a powdery basic processing product, of the type in which said smoke is placed in intimate contact with said product, so that this latter absorbs by chemical reaction the pollutants, more especially acids, contained in the smoke, after which the processed gases and the product having served for processing are separated, the purified gases then being able to be discharged to the atmosphere, characterized in that a certain amount of water is added to said product before placing it in suspension in a rising flow of said smoke, formed in a reaction and drying column. |
