PURPOSE:To prevent the color turbidity and edge blur in color lapping by performing heat treatment at every colors in a speed difference mode method. CONSTITUTION:A recording sheet having ink layers having different hues containing heat sublimable dyes on its substrate and an image receiving sheet 1 are superposed one upon another and thermal printing is applied to both sheets on the side of the recording sheet according to a speed difference mode method by a roller 3 and the dyes 2 in the ink layers at the heated part are sublimed to be transferred to the image receiving sheet 2. In this case, at each time when recording is carried out by one color, the receiving surface of the image receiving sheet 1 is reheated and the dye on the receiving surface is diffused into the receiving layer. By this method, reverse transfer and the color turbidity generated by the speed difference mode method can be prevented. When a recording order is set to Y, M, C and Bk, color turbidity can be further reduced. |
