PURPOSE:To prevent a drop in current collecting characteristics occurring upon the travel of a collector ring along a rail joint section by providing the second collector ring energized with a spring toward a conductor in a rail, in addition to the first collector ring having a slide section in slidable contact with the aforesaid conductor. CONSTITUTION:In a trolley current collecting device used in a trolley system for supplying electric power and transmitting an electrical signal to a moving load such as a hoist in a factory, a recess 12 is formed within a collector ring 1, and another collector ring 10 is provided in the recess 12. In addition, a slide section 11 at the end of the collector ring 10 is energized with a spring 9 for slidable contact with a conductor 3. According to the aforesaid construction, the slidable contact of the slide section 11 with the conductor 3 of a rail can be ensured with the second collector ring 2 energized with the spring 9, even when the first current collector 1 jumps due to a step at a rail joint section. The current collecting characteristics of the device are thereby improved. |
