PURPOSE:To prevent a copy from being fed askew by a method wherein a stopping member is retracted from a feed line when an irregular-shaped copy is introduced into the feed line, in the feeder used in a copy-moving type duplicating machine or the like. CONSTITUTION:A detecting switch 6 placed in the copy feed line 1 and a release switch placed at a copy-introducing part 1a are electrically connected to a solenoid 9. When a normal copy is introduced through the introducing part 1a, the switch 6 detects the copy and the solenoid 9 is energized, so that a bent piece 3a of the stopping member 3 protrudes into the feed line 1 so as to regist the copy. On the other hand, when the irregular-shaped copy is introduced, the release switch 12 is operated manually to interrupt the supply of power to the solenoid 9. Accordingly, skew feeding can be prevented and normal feeding can be contrived irrespectively of the condition in which the copy is introduced. |
