The invention is for application in the field of piston pumps for pumping fluids and medium density substances. The pump has two fixed pistons 16 respectively inserted inside cylindrical chambers 15 and 15a formed in turn inside floating pistons 4 and 5 sliding in cylindrical chambers 2 and 3 formed in the body 1 of the pump. The cylindrical chambers 2 and 3 are in communication with the inlet and outlet pipes via suitable non-return valves. The alternating movement of the floating pistons 4 and 5 is produced by injecting oil under pressure into the chambers 15 and 15a through respective fixed columns 16a for supporting the pistons 16 in which through holes 18 are formed communicating with a high pressure oil distributor 31. <IMAGE> |
