<p>PURPOSE:To enable the separation of one kind or two kinds of uranium or plutonium in a short time by using an anion exchange body to convert uranium or plutonium so as to separate from other radioactive substances. CONSTITUTION:At first, an anion exchange body is packed in a packed tower. Next, a solution containing a substance to be separated is supplied from the upper part of the packed bed, elution operation is performed by a solvent and components eluted from the outlet of the packed bed are divided and recovered. An anion exchange body, for instance, styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer is made chloromethylation and amination to obtain an anion exchange body having quaternary ammonium radical, and the anion exchange body having nitrogen compound of 5 or 6 rings or its derivative including 1-3 nitrogen atoms in crosslinking macromolecule structure of styrene-divinylbenzene type is used, but it is not particularly limited. The main structure of a adsorbent is not limited to the macromolecule structure of the styrene-divinylbenzene type and the copolymer of various vinyl monomer or condensation of condensation compound, and inorganic substance and the like can be applied.</p> |
