PURPOSE:To obtain flat bamboos from which harshness is sufficiently removed, suitable for addition to foods by boring holes through flat bamboos, immersing the bamboos in clean cold water then in clean boiling water. CONSTITUTION:Holes are bored through flat bamboos, which are immersed in clean cold water preferably for >= about 2 hours, then the flat bamboos are immersed in clean boiling water for >= about 2 hours and optionally further in clean cold water or boiling water. |
