It consists of a device rocking on a horizontal shaft, which secures the support of the closure ball of the mortar, and it is connected to the rigid part of the platform or support point on the vehicle, by means of a hydraulic block which also rocks, with a pitch which is calibrated as a function of the pressure curve in order to achieve adequate braking. The hydraulic block is composed of a cylinder/plunger of variable pitch combined with a hydropneumatic expansion device which absorbs the expansions of the liquid and acts as recovery element in order to reposition the weapon in the firing position. <IMAGE>
