PURPOSE:To realize on-line estimation of system constant of a power system by constituting a system constant estimating unit of a memory for storing time series operation data taken in from a power system with a predetermined period and an operating unit based on the principle of neural network. CONSTITUTION:A digital computer 3 takes in generator output data and frequency fluctuation data, with a predetermined period, from a power system 1 through an input unit 2. The data are stored in a memory 31. Predetermined number of original total power demand data and frequency fluctuation data, going back from the newest data, are then taken out from thus stored data and fed to an operating unit 32. On the other hand, system constants are estimated in off-line for many cases and provided as learning data. The operating unit 32 then outputs system constants with reference to the learning data. According to the constitution, system constant can be estimated in the on-line mode. |
