CRUSHING PROCESS AND CRUSHER USING SAID PROCESS

The crushing procedure consists of forming a layer of the material to be crushed on a circular track inside a crusher (10) and crushing it with a roller (30). The pressure exercised by the roller is between 10 and 40 MPa, and the material being crushed is moved transversely across the track as it is rolled. The transverse movement covers only a fraction of the width of the track, which is made in a ring located inside a coaxial cylinder (12) and rotating in the opposite direction to the roller. The outside of the cylinder is constantlylubricated as it rotates on a fixed support (16).
