PURPOSE:To enhance preservability under a high temp. and high humidity condition by adding a condensation product of sorbitol and aromatic aldehyde, polyvinyl pyrrolidone and a resin based on a constitutional unit having a hydroxyl group represented by a specific formula to an ink receiving layer. CONSTITUTION:An ink receiving layer contains a condensation product of sorbitol and aromatic aldehyde, polyvinyl pyrrolidone and a constitutional unit containing a hydroxyl group represented by formula [I] [wherein R1, R2 and R3 are hydrogen or a methyl group and R4 is a group represented by formula [II], m is an integer of 1-20, R5 is -C1H21-and l is an integer of 1-4]. The condensation product of sorbitol and aromatic aldehyde enhances blocking resistance and polyvinyl pyrrolidone absorbs aqueous ink and the resin based on the constitutional unit having a hydroxyl group enhances the wet strength of the ink receiving layer after the absorption of the ink. |
