PURPOSE:To prevent a change in image density caused by the reduction of a power source voltage by a method wherein a power source voltage is detected, and image data is corrected in accordance with the detected voltage to change a conduction time to a thermal head. CONSTITUTION:When a printing key 30 is depressed, a voltage of a power source 52 is detected. In accordance with this value, image data is corrected and printed. When a voltage of the power source 52 is lowered, image data is so corrected as to increase a conduction time to a thermal head. In this manner, the reduction of an image density caused by the voltage drop of the power source 52 can be prevented. Therefore, an image can be printed with a constant density independently of the state of the power source 52. |
