<p>An oscillating wet shave razor (10) with a battery (42) powered motor (44) rotating an eccentric element (48) within the head (30) portion of the razor handle (12) to generate an oscillating vibration signal which is transmitted to the razor blade cartridge (14) to desensitize the facial nerves from the discomforts of shaving. The vibration which is transmitted to the cartridge (14) is partially damped in the direction perpendicular to the surface of the cartridge (14) that engages the user's face so that the blades (15) mounted in the cartridge (14) tend not to chop at the whiskers of the user's beard during shaving.</p> |
