<p>The invention relates to a device for treating surfaces, which can especially be integrated into a painting installation for painting metal or plastic components. The device according to the invention consists of at least one tunnel (2) fitted with spray rails (booms) (4) connected to a manifold (collector) (5) and with a drainage hole (16) which can be closed off and of at least one tank (3) located beneath the said tunnel (2). The invention is characterised in that the tank (3) comprises several vessels (6a, 6b, 6c, 6d) each fitted with a pump (7a, 7b, 7c, 7d) enabling the products which they contain to be conveyed to the manifold (5) and a spillway (9) which can be brought into communication with one or other of the vessels (6a, 6b, 6c, 6d).
