The invention proposes a transmission for a ready-mix concrete mixer, which is quiet in operation and consists of a single-stage planetary transmission and a radial piston motor (100). The planetary transmission is driven by a sun gear on the transmission shaft (2), while the output from the transmission is transmitted via a planet carrier (12) to a curved-toothed coupling (47) which incorporates the flange and the bearings of the mixer drum.
