PURPOSE:To render the finishment of a joint surface excellent and also render the assembly good by forming a joint surface for joining another material on a part of the skin formed with crimpy patterns, and forming no crimpy patterns on the joint surface of the skin. CONSTITUTION:When a skin 14 formed with crimpy patterns is stuck on a model 13 and a skin glued model 15 is manufactured, a dimensional accuracy is maintained by allowing the part for forming a joint surface to which another material is joined, to be a standard surface 16, and the standard surface 16 is not stuck with the skin 14 and, by the use of this surface, an electrocasting mold 17 is manufactured. When slash molding is effected by employing of this electrocasting mold 17, the joint surface 18 of a completed skin 2 is molded in the form of correctly holding a standard dimension T. The skin 2 formed in this fashion is glued to a core formed by injection molding by an adhesive agent, or set into a foaming mold and integrally molded by pouring a foaming body thereinto, so that an instrument panel 1 with a skin is molded. The other material that is joined to the instrument panel 1 of this kind can be zero- adjusted in its joint surface. |
