PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF CHLORINE DIOXIDE LIQUID SOLUTION WITH RIDICAL CHLORINE DIOXIDE

The process for producing a stabilized chlorine dioxid solution of pH 7.0-7.5, containing a free chlorine dioxide (ClO2) is characterized by dissolving 5.5-8.0 wt. pts. of sodium carbonate, 0.1-0.3 wt. pt. of Na2HPO4 and 3.0-7.0 wt. pts. of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in water, and absorbing a chlorine dioxide in the aqueous solution. The stabilized ClO2 solution is used in the sterilization and disinfection of a drinking water, and used as a bleaching agent for pulps, papers, fibers and foods.
