PURPOSE:To reduce the number of maintenance actions of an airplane warning light by constituting a light source with multiple LED elements arranged on the surface side of a base made of a rotary trapezoidal heat-conducting member and having a hollow section, and generating a funnel effect in the hollow section for cooling. CONSTITUTION:Multiple LED elements 2 are arranged over the whole periphery on the surface side of a rotary trapezoidal base 4, the beam-shaped unidirectional light distribution characteristic of one element 2 is horizontally continued over the whole periphery in the horizontal direction, and the rotary trapezoidal shape matches the light distribution characteristic of an airplane warning light 1. A hollow section 4a is provided on the base 4 fitted with a substrate 3 arranged with the elements 2, the outside air is communicated through the upper end side and lower end side of the hollow section 4a, the heat generated by the lighting of the elements 2 is transferred to the base 4 via the substrate 3, the temperature of the air in the hollow section 4a is increased, a funnel effect is generated, the heated air is radiated to the outside air through the upper end side, and fresh air is sucked through the lower end side via vent holes 6a. |
