This apparatus for containing and metering out washing products for an automatic clothes washing machine or the like is composed of receptacles for washing products, such as detergents, whiteners and conditioners, which can be used together or independently from one another, for a plurality of washing operations, which receptacles have means for regulating the timed issue of the product, together or sequentially, with control from the machine's programmer, the exact volume to be poured into the washing vessel being determined at the time of each operation. With this apparatus there is economy of washing products, awkward handling of said products is avoided and hazards and problems concerning the containers for supplying such products are eliminated. <IMAGE>
