<p>PURPOSE:To automate various functions by subjecting each sensing signal to computational processing made by a computer, and allowing a command given therefrom to control injection, transport, and cleaning of a specimen. CONSTITUTION:At the position (a) of a transport means 32 a specimen to be measured is injected from a specimen injecting port 22 into a specimen cell 52 consisting of an ATR (attenuated all reflection) prism 8 and a supporting piece 30. The cell 52 is carried to the position (c) by movement of the transport means 32 in the direction of arrow and irradiated with infrared rays 2, that is sensed and fed to a computer for a computational processing, and thus the absorption spectrum is measured. The cell 52 is further carried to a cleaning part 36 and washed in the positions (f, g) automatically by a detergent fed from a detergent discharge port 37, and the detergent is collected to a waste liquid vessel 38. The cell 52 is dried in the position (h) and used again in measurement. The injection, transport, washing of the specimen during this time are controlled by a control part in conformity to commands given by the computer, that can be performed only by operator's entry of necessary pieces of information.</p> |
