High temperature battery - has neighbouring cells arranged pref. in zigzag to minimise potential difference between adjacent cells
摘要
The high temp. battery is formed by a large number of low voltage storage cells being connected in series within a heat resistant housing. Typically, the complete battery is formed by rows of 12 cells (A-F). The positive terminal is formed on one side (4) and the negative (5) on the other. The cells are interconnected between rows in a zig-zag pattern in order to limit the voltages between adjacent cells to a minimum. ADVANTAGE - Avoids short-circuits between adjacent cells.
