<p>The machine is designed for the manufacture of a ground screw from a rod to be cut (6), of the type comprising, in the first place, means designed for receiving and driving in rotation a master screw (5) and said rod to be cut (6) along two parallel axes (X-X', Y-Y'), in the second place a movable assembly (40) carrying abrasive means designed to come into contact with said rod (6) and to cut it, said movable assembly (40) comprising means interacting with the thread of said master screw (5) in order to be driven and displaced along the latter, and in the third place guide means (13) for said rod to be cut (6). The guide means consist of a cylindrical sleeve dependent on the movable assembly (40) coaxial with the axis (Y-Y') of the rod to be cut (6). The sleeve is designed so that the rod to be cut can pass through it without play, and in a given plane has a slot through which the abrasive means have access to said rod to be cut. <IMAGE></p> |
