A hydraulic calcium phosphate cement composition, useful for the repair of teeth and bones, contains as main ingredients powders of calcium tertiary phosphate and calcium secondary phosphate with a molar ratio of Ca/P of 1.400 to 1.498. The calcium tertiary phosphate contains alpha -type calcium tertiary phosphate and beta -type calcium tertiary phosphate. The cement composition may be mixed with a hardening liquid including water, a sodium salt and a water soluble polymer, e.g. a polysaccharide or surfactant. |
