PURPOSE:To make a lighting tool clear and easy to discern at the time of mishandling of brake operation by forming a tail lamp into a profile surrounding a stop lamp, and by driving light sources individually for the tail lamp and for the stop lamp. CONSTITUTION:A lighting tool 1 is formed into a stop lamp 3 and a tail lamp 2 formed into a profile surrounding the stop lamp, through a bulkhead 5c, and a tail lamp light source 7a and a stop lamp light source 7b which are individually lighted, are provided for each. Particularly during the night when the tail lamp 2 is lighted, the tail lamp 2 is normally lighted in the profile thus formed, and the stop lamp 3 situated on the inner side of the tail lamp is lighted following the operation of brake, next to the tail lamp. The shape of the lighting surface will be different to a large degree when the lighting tool works as a tail lamp 2 and when it works as a stop lamp 3, besides the difference in brightness. |
