PURPOSE:To enhance position detecting accuracy of a vehicle actuator by eliminating any misalignment between the center of a switch pattern mounted on a printed circuit board and the centers of contact plates sliding on the switch pattern. CONSTITUTION:An art work 20, where a desired shaped switch pattern 14 is punched while only a portion forming a switching portion 16 is kept without cutting, is mounted on a printed circuit board 10 in which a copper foil is bonded onto a surface of a resin, and the pattern 14 is printed on the copper foil of the board 10. The board 10 is etched, and further, nickel plating is applied to the switch pattern. An output gear hole 11 is bored in the center surrounded by the pattern 14 of the board 10. Referring to the center o the hole 11, the switching portion 16 is cut by a laser, thus completing the board 10 provided with the pattern 14. In the printed circuit board 10 manufactured in these processes, it is possible to enhance position detecting accuracy by means of contact plates 8, 9 sliding on the pattern 14.
