PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a host computer and to eliminate the application program of a remote terminal by arranging screen definition information used on the host computer for the remote terminal and inputting/outputting a screen. CONSTITUTION:Screen definition information in a screen definition information file 9 with which the application program provided in the host computer 1 deals is arranged in the screen definition information file 10 of the remote terminal and data included in screen definition information among screen input/ output data is processed on the remote terminal. Data included in screen definition information in the host computer 1 among screen input/output data are processed in the host computer 1 and the remote terminal. Thus, screen definition information generated on the host computer 1 is distributed into the remote terminal such as a personal computer and the input/output can be executed by the same application program for the display device or the printer device of a local terminal and the remote terminal. Thus, the application program is not required for the remote terminal. |
