发明名称 PICTURE DECODING SYSTEM
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in picture quality by reflected distortion by applying inverse conversion to a block of the same size as that of a coder side, applying low pass filtering processing to a picture element value being an inverse conversion output and reducing number of picture elements by subsampling. CONSTITUTION:The system consists of a DCT(Discrete Cosine Transformation) transformation section 1, a quantization section 2, a code assignment section 3, a reception code decoding section 4, an inverse DCT transformation section 6, a low pass filtering processing section (LPF) 7, and a subsampling section(SS) 8. Then remaining transformation coefficients corresponding to high frequency components are made zero and inverse conversion is implemented by a same block size in the case of coding and low pass filtering processing is implemented to a picture element being an inverse conversion output and number of picture elements is reduced by subsampling. Thus, since the low pass filtering processing is implemented after inverse conversion, occurrence reflected distortion is prevented.</p>
