Thermosetting compositions including (A) at least one cyanate ester compound essentially consisting of a polyfunctional aromatic cyanic ester having at least two cyanate groups (-O-C=N) bonded to an aromatic core, in a prepolymer derived from said organic ester or in acoprepolymer derived from said cyanic ester and a polyamine; and (B) at least one elastomer essentially consisting of an N,N'-bis-maleimide having a diorganopolysiloxane grouping, in a prepolymer derived from said bismaleimide or in a coprepolymer derived from said bis-maleimide and a diamine. Said thermosetting compositions may further contain an appropriate catalyst and one or more additional polymerizable compounds including in particular a conventional bis-maleimide, an optionally halogenated epoxy resin, an acrylate reagent or an alkenylphenol, and may also be combined with known reinforcing fillers. |
