PURPOSE:To obtain a composition suitable as prepreg of fiber-reinforced composite material having heat resistance and toughness containing epoxy resin, a specific polyimide-butadiene resin and epoxy hardener. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin composition contains (A) 100 pts.wt. epoxy resin, (B) 10-100 pts.wt. polyimide-butadiene resin having 3000-30000 number- averaged molecular weight composed of repeating units expressed by formula IV and formula III (A is aromatic group; B is a bifunctional group expressed by formula V and/or formula VI; (n) is 6-75) obtained by the reaction of an imide oligomer having diamine terminal which is obtained from an aromatic diamine and an acid anhydride expressed by formula I and/or formula II (R1 is C1-10 alkyl; R2 is H, C1-20 alkyl or OH), with a butadiene oligomer having main chain expressed by formula III (X, Y and Z are positive integers and X:Y=1-0.5, Z is 10-100) and having COOH at terminal, and (C) necessary amount of epoxy hardener. |
