PURPOSE:To reduce a space necessary for joining operation and to perform pressure welding excellent in joining quality by installing a transparent body passing laser beam at the front opening of a clamping body on the side passing the laser beam. CONSTITUTION:Materials 6a, 6b to be welded are clamped between the transparent body 100 and a lower side tip 5 and irradiated with laser beam 9 under this state. In a metal welding part 14 in the materials 6a, 6b to be welded, temperature rises so that it can be pressure-welded and it is pressure-welded by the clamping force of a movable arm 2 pressing the transparent body 100. Consequently, spot welding high in welding quality can be performed. Further, since the area of the lower end part of the transparent body 100 is small, the space necessary for joining operation is reduced. |
