PURPOSE:To obtain a smooth coating layer of the best thickness with no mixed bubbles by repeatedly dipping a base in coating according to a constant rule. CONSTITUTION:Point (a) of base 1 of an aluminum-made inside disk is considered an intrusion point, and length (h) less than the lower radius of base 1 a dip depth. The base is dipped in coating tank 1 filled with nitrocellulose coating of 150cps in viscosity and turned as shown by the arrow and at the point in time when point (a) returns to its original point inside of coating tank 2, aluminum-made disk base 1 is lifted out of coating tank 2 and dried in the air by turning to complete the 1st coating. Next, a point displaced from point (a) by an adequate angle is considered the intrusion position and the dips of the 2nd-n-th times, single-rotation coating, lift, rotary drying are repeated sequentially. Consequently, a record disk superior in recording characteristics can be obtained which has a smooth coating layer of the best thickness with no mixed bubble. |
