<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a sheet from varying its physical properties, an actuator from getting defective actuation and a sheet from getting defective quality and the like by providing a sheet average thickness control loop for controlling the take-up speed of a take-up unit based on the average thickness of sheets and also providing an average lip opening degree control loop for actuating respective actuators at a time by the given value in the case that the total value of lip opening degree in respective measuring sites or lip average opening degree gets larger than the set value. CONSTITUTION:A system consists of a die 2 provided with a movable side lip which forms a flexible lip 4 to be adjusted in its opening degree by a fixed side lip 3 and a plurality of actuators 5 at its end, a take-up unit 6 for taking up sheets 1 drawn out of said die 2, a thickness measuring instrument 7 for measuring the thickness of sheets 1 taken up by said take-up unit 6 in a plurality of sites corresponding to respective actuators 5, and a thickness control device 8 for outputting signals for the opening degree and take-up speed of both lips 3 and 4 to the actuators 5 and the take-up unit 6 based on the signal from said thickness measuring instrument 7 and the set target value.</p> |
