PURPOSE:To prevent any generation of internal short circuits and the like by preventing any scattering of an amalgamated zinc powder which might be caused by static electricity by attaching an annular gasket to the periphery of a negative can, being followed by removing the static electricity of the gasket before said amalgamated zinc powder is packed. CONSTITUTION:After an annular gasket 2 is attached to the periphery of a negative can 1, the static electricity electrifying the gasket 2 is removed with a corona discharger or the like, then an amalgamated zinc powder 3a is packed. Next, a gelling agent such as sodium polyacrylate and alkaline electrolyte are packed to form a negative agent 3. After that, the negative agent 3 is combined with a positive mixture 5 installed in a positive can 4 and a separator 6, thereby constituting a button-type battery. As a result, the amalgamated zinc powder 3a can be prevented from scattering due to static electricity during its packing, thereby any generation of internal short circuits and any variation and reduction of discharge capacity which might be caused due to the scattering of the powder 3a can be prevented. |
