<p>Process for the manufacture of fatty acid esters, in which at least one C4-C24 fatty acid is used to esterify a hydroxyl compound taken from the group consisting of sterols, tocopherols, terpene alcohols and nonlinear aliphatic alcohols, which are present in free and/or ecterified form in natural oils or fatty substances and form part of the nonsaponifiable fraction of these natural oils or fatty substances. Fatty esters obtained in isolated form by this process and compositions for human or veterinary use containing the products obtained, in an effective quantity in a suitable carrier.</p> |
