PURPOSE:To make it possible to simplify a mechanism and to perform pretreatment of a sample and to improve freedom in sample intrdouction by sucking liquid in a sample container through a water sampling needle, and supping the liquid into an analyzer or into another sample container. CONSTITUTION:At least two kinds of a large sample container and a small sample container are provided on a sample stage. A water sampling needle 2 and an aeration pretreatment needle 4 are attached to an arm 6 and driven at the same time. The needles are inserted into the same sample container or into the different sample containers. When the two needles 2 and 4 are inserted into the same sample container, pretreatment gas is blown through the aeration pretreatment needle 4, and the sample is made uniform. When nonvolatile organic carbon (NPOC) is measured, acidic aeration is performed. The sample is sucked through the needle 2 and introduced into the analyzer. Acid is inputted in one sample container 1. The acid is sucked through the needle 2. The specified amount of the acid is distributed and injected into other sample containers. Thus, acidification can be performed only for the sample whose NPOC is to be measured. The acidification and the aeration can be completed during the standby period until the sample measurement. |
