PURPOSE:To enable incorporation of a conductor having a small conducting resistance and a high dielectric constant while controlling its temperature coefficient by firing a powdery mixture composed of a glass having a corderite-based composition, TiO2 and a specified compound metal oxide. CONSTITUTION:With 100 pts.wt. powdery mixture between 50-100wt.% corderite- based glass composed of 25-65wt.% SiO2, 7-25wt.% MgO, 10-45wt.% Al2O3 and 0-20wt.% B2O3 and having <=20mum particle size, 0-30wt.% TiO2 having <=2m<2>/g BET specific surface area and 0-40 wt.% formula RE2Ti2O7 (RE is rare earth metal),<30 pts.wt. powdery filler having<=30 dielectric constant is blended as necessary. The resultant mixture is formed into a desired shape, fired at 800-1100 deg.C and subsequently subjected to crystallization treatment at 850-1100 deg.C, thus giving the objective dielectric porcelain composition containing TiO2 particles and RE2Ti2O7 particles dispersed in the resultant corderite crystalline matrix layer. |
