<p>PURPOSE:To improve operation convenience of a user considerably by displaying descrambling state information onto a display screen in the case of descrambling and displaying descrambling end information onto the display screen when descrambling is finished. CONSTITUTION:A CPU of a television control circuit 4 executes a descramble channel display processing procedure RTO, a descramble screen display processing procedure RT10, and an audio mute screen display processing produce RT20 in the timing when a remote controller 5 is operated to enter channel selection information ICM and analyzes an address code as to a television signal STV of a scramble channel and display the processing state for nearly 20 sec for descrambling onto a screen DSP of a CRT 12. Thus, a channel number display DSPCM corresponding to a character data DTCR is displayed on the screen DSP of the CRT 12 as descramble state information for processing period.</p> |
