MEMBRANE METHOD FOR DEWATERING HOMOGENEOUS ACETOTROPICAL MIXTURES

The method is used for dehydrating azeotropic mixtures released as waste in the manufacture of medicinal preparations, as well as in the food, wine and tobacco industries and the biotechnological industry. Completely dehydrated products are obtained by this method, which uses a non-polluting membrane that is manufactured easily, is characterized by high selectivity and permeability and is not affected by the presence of ions in the treated mixture. The membrane method achieves selective water evaporation through a gelatine membrane.
