Improvements in compressed air nailers. The improvements are centred on the fact that, to a conventional compressed air nailer, there is provided a levelling device which covers the hole and by means of it the head of a pin or nail which has been driven, for example into wood, by means of said nailer. The levelling device is formed by a pneumatic cylinder which is actuated by the very air expelled by the nailer, and which this latter has utilised to effect the nailing task. The actuation of this cylinder carries with it a portion of wax which exits through an orifice which is located in correspondence with the exit orifice of the pin or nail, due to which the said portion of wax is deposited under pressure on the driving hole of the pin or nail, covering said hole and the head of that pin or nail. <IMAGE>
