PURPOSE:To improve blocking resistance, film resistance, flowability, and cleanability by fixing a fine resin particle having the diameter smaller than the diameter of a colored particle and a shape memory function on the surface of the colored particle and forming the fine resin particle in such a manner that the form thereof is restored when heated. CONSTITUTION:The colored particle formed by incorporating a coloring agent, wax and other additive into a binder resin is used as a base material particle and the fine particle consisting of the resin which is smaller in diameter than the diameter of this base body particle and which itself has the shape memory function is fixed to the surface thereof by mechanical impact force to obtain the electrostatic image developing toner. The fine resin particle having the shape memory function is fixed to the base material particle in the deformed state and changes to restore the original shape when heated. The toner having the excellent blocking resistance, filming resistance, flowability, and cleanability and has the high durability is obtd. in this way without impairing the low-temp. fixability possessed by the colored particles. Visible images having high quality are thus formed stably over a long period of time. |
