PURPOSE:To obtain a swinging type automatic welding equipment enabling efficient joining work for reinforcing bar kind by integrally assembling a welding jig composed of one pair of clamping devices for holding the reinforcing bar kind at common axial position and a device for adjusting interval between the clamping devices. CONSTITUTION:At the time of holding the upper and the lower reinforcing bar kinds 50A, 50A' with the upper and the lower automatic clamping devices 1, 1', respectively, the upper and the lower reinforcing bar kinds 50A, 50A' automatically receive, axes adjusting action and centering is executed. Successively, by operating a hydraulic cylinder 11 vertically stood in an automatic adjusting device 10, the automatic clamping devices 1, 1' are operated toward vertical direction under condition of clamping the reinforcing bar kinds 50A, 50A' to adjust the interval H between the centered reinforcing bar kinds 50A, 50A'. A welding wire is fed to butt-welding joint part W of the reinforcing bar kinds 50A, 50A', which the centering in such way is executed and the interval H is adjusted, from a welding nozzle 52 and the whole periphery of joint part W is welded. |
