PURPOSE:To bring a position of a source for sounded from speakers to outside of a head and to devise the headphone system as if a natural sound were heard by generating a phase difference of the sound sounded from left and right speakers automatically according to the movement of the position of ears or the movement of the position of a body. CONSTITUTION:The movement of a head moved from the left to the right is sensed by a piston sensor 2 and a signal output representing the movement of the head sensed by the piston sensor 2 is analyzed by an analysis section 3. This signal is received by a left speaker signal generating section 4, which generates a sound signal whose phase is slightly delayed with respect to the sound to be sounded from the left speaker. Upon the receipt of an output signal from the analysis section 3, a right speaker signal generating section 5 generates a sound signal for the right speaker whose phase is not modified. The sound signal outputted from the left speaker signal generating section 4 is sent to the left speaker 6, from which a sound is sounded. Moreover, the sound signal outputted from the right speaker signal generating section 5 is sent to the right speaker 7, from which a sound is sounded. Thus, the phase difference of sounds sounded from the left and right speakers is automatically generated according to the movement of the position of the head in this way. |
