PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration and the damage of a photosensitive drum and to facilitate the attachment/detachment of a unit by integrally housing an image forming body and a transfer part in the unit. CONSTITUTION:The drum unit 20b is constituted by housing the photosensitive drum 2a, a cleaner 3, a destaticizing part 4 and the transfer part 6a in a housing 21b. As to the housing 21b, a range where the drum 2a is exposed to the developing roller 2 of a developing part 5a, a range where a recording paper 12a passes and the above part of the cleaner 3 are made open, and a knob 16 is formed on the upper surface. At the time of opening the upper cover part 13a of the device with such constitution, the transfer part 6a is positioned on the drum 2a and the upper surface of the drum 2a is not exposed, then a photosensitive layer is not deteriorated even though it is left as it is for a long time and is not damaged at the time of attaching/detaching the unit 20b. Furthermore, the unit is easily detached from the device by holding and picking up the knob 16. |
