PURPOSE:To avoid fluctuation of a DC level and malfunction of an AGC amplifier by using a dummy data addition circuit when a data to be sent is not in existence so as to send the dummy data in which 0 or 1 bit pattern is not consecutive for a prescribed time or over. CONSTITUTION:When a data to be sent is not in existence, dummy data addition circuits 102, 112 are controlled to add a dummy data. The dummy data added by the dummy data addition circuit has a bit pattern in which number of Os and 1s is the same and consists of a bit pattern in which Os or 1s are not consecutive for a prescribed time or over. Malfunction such as DC level fluctuation or amplification of a noise component is avoided and missing in the transmission data is eliminated by inputting the signal as above to photoelectric converters 104, 114. |
